OT Win Sends Wildcats to Flood-Marr Final

Corwith Simmers converted a pass from Jack Sadowski three minutes into overtime as the Wildcats earned a hard-fought 3-2 win over Hotchkiss at the Flood-Marr tournament. Down 1-0 headed into the third, KUA got an early goal from Sam LeDrew and appeared to take the lead minutes later when Malcolm Baar poked the puck past the Hotchkiss goalie. However, the referee overturned the goal call for having lost sight of the puck. Hotchkiss took a 2-1 lead with just over two minutes to play, but with the goalie pulled CJ Watroba connected on a one-timer from Andrew O'Sullivan to tie the game in the final minute, setting up the overtime heroics. Goalie Blake McMeniman earned the win with 21 saves.
