KUA Breaks Through in Third to Top Brewster

The Wildcats fired a season-high 70 shots on net, including 27 in the first period alone, and scored six goals in the third period to win 8-3 at Brewster on Saturday. Despite the lopsided shot advantage, KUA trailed 1-0 after a period of play. In the second, goals by Nathan McLean and Jackson Davies (his first of two on the night) gave the Wildcats a 2-1 lead after two. KUA broke the game open in the third period by scoring six goals: two by CJ Watroba, another by Davies, and singles by Malcolm Baar, Jack McMinn, and Mikael Tissier. Brewster tallied two goals late, but goalie Colby Boyce made the lead stand by making 17 stops on the night.
