KUA Advances to NEPSAC Semifinals

For the first time this season, KUA came back from behind to win the game, beating Concord Academy in the NEPSAC Quarterfinals. The Wildcats started off slow, showing the mental toll of two exams in one day. Concord Academy capitalized and went up 1-0 heading into halftime. The second half, KUA came out much more determined. About 15 minutes in, Bethany Solari found Lolle Maier who dribbled in behind the defenders and scored KUA's first goal. With the game tied at 1-1, it was looking like overtime was inevitable until, with about one minute left in the game, Captain Summer Combe took a corner kick and connected with Addi Hubert who found the back of the net scoring the game winner! The girls are excited to host St. Luke's in the NEPSAC Semifinals on Pope Field this Saturday, November 18th.
