Game at Holderness

Coach Wetzel
The KUA JV Soccer Team traveled today to take on Holderness in an overcast, rainy matchup on the turf. The defensive line, including Kai and Cheyenne, made strong defensive play to fend off the attacks by the Holderness offense, and just two goals got past KUA in the first half. Chloe, Ollie, and Laney worked to put into motion some offensive plays, putting into action the crosses and through balls that we’ve been practicing. At the end of the first half, KUA had some exciting shots on goal. Also, guest player Paula played in her first game of the season, bringing great energy. Our second half was cut short because we ran out of daylight, and we ended with a score of 0-2, but the team was in good spirits. We’re looking forward to some home games next week, and we’ll hope to see you there!
