With just over 2 minutes remaining in the first quarter, Mallory Clark made a significant impact. She entered the circle and unleashed a powerful reverse shot that deflected off a defender and found its way to the opposite side of the goal. Lindie Brinkman was there to settle the ball and score, giving the Wildcats a 1-0 lead before the end of the first quarter.

The second quarter saw the Wildcats facing some pressure as an NMH player managed to dodge past several KUA defenders and score, tying the game at 1-1. However, the Wildcats regrouped and kept the play neutral for the remainder of the half, and the game went into halftime with a 1-1 score.

The majority of the third quarter resembled the first, with action on both ends of the field but no team able to capitalize on their chances. However, the Wildcats found their rhythm, and with just under 2 minutes left in the quarter, they set the tone for the fourth. Mallory Clark provided two more assists, the first being a hard shot that Eva Rossmassler deflected into the net, putting the Wildcats ahead 2-1. In the final 30 seconds of the third quarter, Mallory Clark sent another hard cross-ball past the NMH keeper to Bridget Clark, who controlled the ball and scored her first KUA goal of the season, making it a 3-1 game.

In the fourth quarter, the Wildcats came out strong and continued to control the game. They shut down NMH's offense and executed a well-earned offensive corner. Michaela Cokinos received the ball at the top of the circle, dodged an NMH player, and sent a hard shot toward the goal post. Ainsley Lonczak was perfectly positioned to deflect the shot into the back of the net, sealing the victory with a final score of 4-1.

The Wildcats showcased resilience and determination throughout the game, overcoming a slow start to secure a convincing win against NMH.
