Game vs. Brewster

JV Soccer played our first game on a windy afternoon at Brewster Academy! The team braved the conditions and took to the field for the first time together, and as coach I’m so proud of their efforts. While we can up just short 0-1, the team played a strong defensive game, blocking many attempts on goal from Brewster’s offense. A big shoutout goes to our goalie this game, as she fearlessly caught and dove on the ball upwards of 10 times for the save! The team group together after the end of the game to acknowledge the loss and appreciate each others’ efforts while snacking on some delicious cookies (thank you, parents!). We’ll look forward to our next game next week!
