KUA Cross Country Team Competes at Holderness School
The Kimball Union Academy Cross Country team had a fantastic start to their season with a Lakes Region Cross Country meet hosted by Holderness.
On the girls’ side, Lizie Connors led the way placing 11th in a field of almost 50 runners. Siena Belaire and Ella Cheong were close behind, making the top 20. Siena and Ella both had debut races as Wildcats. All three Wildcats worked together to place 3rd at their 1st Lakes Region Meet of the season.
On the boys’ side, senior Max Chisholm led the way, placing in the top 20 in a field of over 65 runners. 10th grader John Wallace and 9th grader Spencer Hutchinson also represented the team well, working together throughout a good part of the race.
The Wildcats will be traveling to Proctor Academy to compete in a Lakes Region league race next Wednesday (9/28).
