Vermont's Two Runs in the Sixth the Difference

In a well-pitched game from both Brendan Walker (5.0 innings, 11 K, 3 BB, 2 ER) and Vermont's Dylan McCarthy (5.1 innings, 9 K, 1 BB, 1 ER), a couple of walks and execution in key moments were the difference in a great Lakes Region matchup of two of the top four teams in the league. Silas Nowlan was excellent in his two innings of relief. Revy Mack, Mica McGinley-Smith, Alex Shareiko (RBI), and AJ Noel each had a hit with McGinley-Smith scoring the KUA run. Charlie Creelman made three nice plays in left field in the game. KUA is on the road next Wednesday at New Hampton.
