Walker Dominates, Bats Hot as Wildcats Win in Five

Walker's Complete Game Gem and KUA's offense propels the Wildcats to Victory.
Brendan Walker didn't allow a single run as KUA defeated New Hampton 10-0 on Wednesday. Walker allowed just one hit while striking out twelve and surrendering one walk in his complete game.
KUA secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning. Mica McGinley-Smith, Revy Mack, Silas Nowlan, and Leo Barta each had RBIs in the big inning.
KUA Wildcats Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Mack singled on a 3-1 count, scoring McGinley-Smith.
A double by Dom Petkus in the second inning was a positive for New Hampton School.
H Meehan took the loss for New Hampton School. Meehan lasted three and a third innings, allowing nine hits and seven runs while striking out six and walking zero.
The Wildcats Varsity launched one home run on the day. Nowlan had a long ball in the fourth inning.
KUA tallied 12 hits. McGinley-Smith (3), Ray Thurston (2), and Mack (2) each collected multiple hits. KUA didn't commit a single error in the field; AJ Noel and Mack made nice plays for outs in the middle infield. KUA tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. McGinley-Smith led the way with three.
