Wildcats Beat Bulls With Big Sixth Inning

KUA scored 8 runs in the sixth to survive a scare from the visiting Bulls.
The Wildcats led 3-0 until the top of the sixth when Holderness scored six runs on four hits, two errors, and three walks. KUA responded with an eight-spot in their half of the inning on six hits from Revy Mack (2), Silas Nowlan (2B), AJ Noel, Alex Shareiko, and Ray Thurston (3B). On the day, Thurston (3), Noel (2), Mack (2), Mica McGinley-Smith, and Jon Bruner all had RBI. Runs were scored by McGinley-Smith (2), Mack, Nowlan, Noel, Shareiko (2), Bruner (2), and Thurston (2). Shareiko started on the mound and threw four no-hit innings striking out two and walking three. Mack got the win in relief, while Nowlan and Walker also contributed on the mound in relief - pitchers only surrendered one earned run in the game. KUA is back in action Wednesday at home versus New Hampton School. First pitch is scheduled for 2:30 pm.
