New Hamptom Varsity B Too Much for KUA

In a back-and-forth affair for much of the encounter, New Hampton's Varsity B squad proved too much for the resilient Wildcats.  Armed with a significant advantage on the interior and a deep bench, New Hampton ultimately pulled away from KUA thanks to hot shooting, superior rebounding, and second-chance points in the second half.  Even when KUA would go on a mini-run to close the gap, New Hampton seemed to find another gear to restore their advantage.

Captain Andrew Alexandrescu '22 and Max McClure '24 carried the offensive load, especially in the first half when their clutch baskets allowed KUA to take a one-point lead before falling behind by five at the end of the first frame.  Captain Hill Carter '21 had another strong game on both ends of the floor and led the 'Cats in rebounding.
