The Wildcats Travel to Proctor Academy and Leave with a 6-2 Victory

KUA traveled to Proctor academy this Sunday.  The Wildcats scored three goals in the first period. After attacking the net, Mo McBride scored the first goal of the game. On a two-on-one breakaway, Lucie Turcotte scored a shorthanded goal with an assist from Abby Flanagan. Delany Williams then scored a top-shelf goal after chipping the puck off the sideboards to get into the offensive zone. 

The Wildcats went into the second period with a 3-0 lead. Abby Flanagan scored the first goal of the period with an assist from Lucie Turcotte. Next up, Gretchen Dann fired a nice shot from the blue line, set up by Ainsley Lonczak and Delany Williams. Lucie Turcotte scored a one-timer from the slot, with a nice pass from Kate French. After playing a great two periods in the net and refusing to let a goal past her, goalie Shannon Moran headed to the bench, and Ellie Stedina took the net. 

Going into the third period, KUA was up 6-0. The Wildcats created multiple chances to get the puck behind the net, but their total goal count stayed at 6. Proctor academy scored two goals about halfway through the third period. The Wildcats ended with a 6-2 victory.
