KUA Wins Second Game in a Row

The Wildcats hosted New Hampton School for their second hockey game of the weekend. The Wildcats won  2-0. KUA battled through the first period with the score remaining 0-0. The second period had some great opportunities for the Wildcats. Kat Maniatis and Julia Chedel moved the puck up the ice and worked together on a nice two on one. On a powerplay, Abby Flanagan and Gretchen Dann fired shots from the blueline. After battling through the first and second periods, the Wildcats scored two goals in the third to win the game. Lucie Turcotte scored the first goal of the game with an assist from Kate French. Mo McBride scored the second with an assist from Kate French and Ainsley Lonczak. Goalie Shannon Moran defended the net throughout the game and refused to let a puck cross the goal line.
