KUA Wins Season Opener at Tilton School
The Kimball Union Academy Cross Country Team competed at Tilton School this afternoon. The cross country team had an excellent start to their season, with both the boys and girls teams winning the entire meet.
Ben Conway (22:19) lead the way for the boys team, placing 1st overall. Gabe Laszekski (2nd 23:25) and Owen McBride (3rd 24:40) rounded out the top three spots. Brad Ji finished off the team score with his 5th place finish. Freshman Lizie Connors, in her debut race for Kimball Union Academy, placed 1st overall for the girls with a time of 27:34. Addie Kopacz, also in her debut race for Kimball Union Academy, came in 2nd with a time of 29:24. Kate Gao solidified the lead for the team with her 6th place finish and a time of 35:58. The team will be hosting New Hampton School next week.
