Wildcats Rebound for Win Over Holderness

Junior defenseman Luca Fantilli had a goal and two assists while classmate Zak Brice made 25 saves as the Wildcats defeated Holderness 5-1 on Saturday in Meriden. KUA jumped out to a 3-0 first-period lead on goals from seniors Zach Whithead (1 G, 1 A), Sullivan Mack (1G), and Paul Dore (1G). The Wildcats made it 4-0 in the second when Fantilli converted a feed from Whitehead. Holderness got one back late in the second, and a third-period goal from junior Grant Eastwood, with assists to sophomores Revy Mack and Connor Chalmers, rounded out the scoring. Senior Tomas Mazura finished with two assists.
