Timberlake scores 33 in a 10 point loss to Gould, 84-74
The KUA Wildcats travelled to Gould today in an important Class AA match but fell short, losing 84-74. Kimball Union got off to a quick start as Nick Timberlake hit his first four shots, al threes as the wildcats built an early 8 point lead. They were up 5 at the half 40-35, but Gould started the second half with a 23-3 run. KUA battled back to make it an 7 point game with a minute left,78-71, but could not get any closer at the end. Timberlake ended with 33 pts for the night. Enoch Cheeks had 14 pts and Will Engelhardt added 11 pts for KUA as well. The Wildcats return home and will play Tilton on Wednesday with a 4:30 game start. The Wildcats record for the season now stands at 12-10.
