KUA holds off Wilbraham for a tough 81-75 victory today.

The Kimball Union boys basketball team traveled down to Wilbraham Monson Academy and came away with a well-earned 81-75 victory in an important AA match.  The Wildcats took a four point lead at halftime and pushed it to nine midway through the second half.  They then stepped up their defensive play to hold off a determined run by Wilbraham late in the game.  Nick Timberlake was KUA’s high scorer again tonight with 29 points; Enoch Cheeks  (21pts) and Will Engelhardt (18pts) both hit critical shots late in the game to help seal the win.  Next up for the Wildcats: Holderness on Wednesday.
