KUA loses to Notre Dame (SASK) 84-59 in Sun Youth Holiday Classic semifinals.

The Kimball Union Boys basketball team returned from their tournament in Montreal today having lost in the semifinals to Notre Dame (SASK) 84-59.  KUA played well in the first half, holding a one point lead at the half 34-33, but were unable to maintain their level of play in the second half against a deep and athletic opponent. Nick Timberlake lead KUA in scoring for the night with 21 points, followed by Enoch Cheeks with 14 pts and Will Engelhardt with 12 pts.  As they break for the holidays the Wildcats stand at 7-3 overall.  They return to action on Wed. Jan 3, travelling to play  AA rival Lawrence Academy.
