Kimball Union Academy improved to 2-0 on the season beating Brewster Academy 5-0 in the home opener. KUA got on the board early When junior Seth Stadheim scored after a nice pass from Noah Spaulding. Junior Ben Tardiff then doubled the lead on a nice pass from Stadheim. The second half would see more of the same with KUA pressuring the Brewster backs throughout the last 45 minutes. The pressure paid off with KUA finishing the the game with a 5-0 victory. Second half scorers were a Brewster own goal, Stadheim from Spaulding and junior Andrew Robertello scoring an unassisted goal. Kosta Maniatis picked up the shutout making four saves on the day. KUA heads to Loomis Chaffee School on Sunday to take on St Paul's School at the Northeast Prep Jamboree at 11:30am.
