KUA Ties Brewster Academy
The JV field hockey team hosted Brewster for their first home game of the season today. Though final score was 0-0, the game was very exciting. KUA outshot Brewster 9-3, with shots from Grace Bonner, Anda Brown, Lucy Pike, Dorodia Huang, Natalie Paine and Caitlin Doyle. With only one sub, the entire team was forced to hustle nearly the entire game and maintain a strong endurance. Sweeper Jesse Leung maintained composure under fire from the opposing team, along with Sunny Sun, Gabby Pais and Maggie Hicks and Kristen Richardson. Overall, KUA did a great job communicating with their teammates and working to move the ball down through the wide alleys of the field. Goalie Seana Perkins had a shutout. KUA is excited to rematch New Hampton at home this Saturday!
