KUA Golf Finishes Season Strong v New Hampton
The golf team went to Laconia Country Club to compete against New Hampton today at 2:30pm. Owen Rourke- Nicholas, Chandler Stowell, Ariel Silver and Emu Haynes all competed hard. The highlights today involved Emu 'the Wizard' Haynes.
Emu went down early, losing the first four holes. The outlook was bleak but after surviving the fifth hole by tying to remain four down with five holes to play, the 'Wizard' went to work. She won six, seven and eight before coming to the ninth green with a chance to win if she made a four foot putt. The putt ran over the right edge of the hole three feet past. Emu rammed the next putt home. Her competitor had two feet to win the match and it lipped out. Emu won the hole and tied the individual match! Congratulations!
