Golf v Proctor Gets First Match Win of Season
Today at Lake Sunapee CC, KUA golf played hard and notched its first match win! The players included today were Alex Ussler, Owen Rourke-Nicholas, Cameron Stowell, Jacob Weiss, Chandler Stowell and Ariel Silver.
Jacob Weiss got the first match win of the season, winning 1 up on the 9th hole. It was a roller coaster match, with Jacob going down early but bringing the match to all square through 8. He won the ninth hole with a great up-n-down recovery for par to take the match for KUA.
Others who played strong were Owen and Cameron, they took their respective matches to the ninth and eighth holes. Proctor had too strong of a team in the end and took the team match.
KUA golf plays home at Eastman next v Tilton on Wednesday May 4th.
