Christina Ryan hit a three-pointer at the start and finish of today's NEPSAC quarter-final match-up with Miss Hall's School. Defensive pressure allowed the Wildcats to build a 45-21 halftime lead with Taylor Soule scoring 17 of her team high 19 points.
Miss Hall's battled until the final buzzer, but the outside shooting of KUA was too much to overcome. The Wildcats knocked down 10 treys in total as Ella Bankert, Miranda Judd and Ryan netted three apiece and Catherine Beaupre added one more. The Cats finished 11-for-13 from the charity stripe.
Kate Fowler had a strong game on both ends of the court and finished with 7 points, including an old fashioned 3-point play. Final score: 67-49.
Top-seeded KUA, now 20-4, will host #4 Proctor Academy in the NEPSAC semi-finals on Saturday, March 5. Tip-off is scheduled for 2p.m.
