KUA Holds off Holderness in Last Regular Season Road Game
KUA was cold from long range so they went inside to Taylor Soule who scored 11 first half points to give the Wildcats a 26-21 edge at the break.
Things heated up in the second half as KUA relied on their defense to create some offense. Ella Bankert, Christina Ryan and Miranda Judd each knocked down perimeter shots while Soule continued to do damage in the paint. Kate Fowler dominated the boards while each team member gave a strong defensive effort.
Soule led all scorers with 22 points, including a clutch performance from the free throw line. Judd was close behind with 16 while Bankert and Ryan knocked down two treys apiece. Anna Parker also added a three pointer, Fowler had nice 10 footer and Sarah Heiskell-Mann netted a free throw.
KUA (18-4) wins this one 56-40 and will host Class B Governors Academy in their final regular-season game. The Wildcats will honor seniors Miranda Judd (Lebanon, NH), Kayleigh Coombs (Claremont, NH) and Kate Fowler (Whitesboro, NY) before tip-off.
