KUA stunned Class A New Hampton (19-5) yesterday with a 57-53 win, avenging an early season 33-point loss to the Huskies on the road. Point guard Ella Bankert '17 led the team with 18 points and was key down the stretch as she scored the go ahead basket with less than a minute left. Lebanon's Taylor Soule '18 was a dominating presence all over the floor, scoring 16 points, going 9-for-11 from the free throw line, and adding several steals and rebounds. Miranda Judd and Christina Ryan played ferociously on both ends of the court, finishing with 7 and 10 points respectively. Kate Fowler scored two huge buckets and was a rebounding force all game long.
KUA improves to 17-4 and goes on the road on Friday to take on Lakes Region League Rival Holderness. Go Wildcats!
