Wildcats' Win Streak Extends to Four

In their first game in a week, the KUA Wildcats raced out to a 5-0 lead.  Miranda Judd scored a quick bucket off the opening tip and Taylor Soule followed that up with a three ball hitting nothing but net.  Class A Deerfield was ready to do battle, however, and stayed within striking distance, trailing 23-16 at the haff.

Some timely threes by Chrisitina Ryan and Ella Bankert in the second stanza helped give the Wildcats some breathing room.  A change in defense allowed the KUA lead to swell to 19 before Deerfield scored some quick buckets down the stretch to bring the final score to 50-37.

Soule led all scorers with 19 points, efficiently shooting 7-for-8 from the floor. Bankert and Ryan chipped in with 16 and 9 points respectively while combining for 7 steals and 5 assists. Judd finished with 3 assists, 5 points, 4 rebounds and a team high 6 steals.  Kate Fowler and Sarah Heiskell-Mann played strong defense on Deerfield's bigs while collecting 5 caroms apiece.

KUA wins their fourth game in a row and improves to 11-3 overall.
