KUA Wins a Defensive Battle with WMA

Pressure defense was the name of the game tonight as the Wildcats had to scratch and claw their way to a 48-32 decision over the visiting Titans. Unfortunately the game ended abruptly when a WMA player suffered a serious injury with just under 6 minutes remaining in the game.  We wish Alex a quick recovery and hope that she is back in the game very soon!

The Wildcats had a much better night from the charity stripe than the night before, finishing 11-for-13. Balanced scoring from Taylor Soule (16), Ella Bankert (12) and Kate Fowler (8) helped KUA maintain a double-digit lead throughout most of the contest.  Christina Ryan knocked down two 3-pointers.

KUA, now 9-3, travels to Class A Northfield Mount Hermon on Wednesday for a 2:30 game.
