Wildcats Fend off Bobcats to Improve to 7-2
KUA's defense was key in jumping out to a quick lead over the visiting Bobcats. Taylor Soule and Christina Ryan combined for 22 points giving the Wildcats a 30-19 edge at the break.
Strong performances from the trio of Ryan, Miranda Judd and Ella Bankert allowed KUA to secure the lead in the second half despite a balanced scoring attack and scrappy defense by the Brewster squad. Kate Fowler stepped up grabbing key rebounds and chipping in 6 points to help KUA improve to 7-2 with the 50-39 victory.
