Wildcats Extinguish Wyvern's Flame
After a slow start in the consolation match of the Kingswood Invitational Tournament, Kimball Union utilized full court pressure in the second half to build an insurmountable lead over host Kingswood Oxford.
Ella Bankert (Cuttingsville, VT) gave KUA some breathing room at the end of the first half scoring 5 of her 11 points. Halftime score 24-18. Balanced scoring from Taylor Soule (16 points), Christina Ryan (10 points) and Sarah Heiskell-Mann (7 points) in the second stanza helped KUA capture third place of 8 teams with the 57-31 victory.
KUA, 4-1, undefeated in NEPSAC play, will be on break until January 6th when they play Wheeler School at a neutral site.
