KUA defeats Choate 73-45

KUA sprinted to a 9-0 lead Sunday afternoon in downing Choate. Balanced scoring and stifling defense were again the recipe for success---six players scored between seven and fifteen points in the 73-45 victory. Player of the Game Travis Valmon paced Wildcat scoring with 15 points while Cooper Williams and Ross Gerber contributed 12 each. Spencer Cline added 8 and Joey Crowley and Garrett Turner finished with seven. The game was held at Babson College as part of the Scholar-Roundball Classic. With the win KUA improves to 5-1 on the year. Next action is Wednesday as the Wildcats travel to Loomis-Chaffee School to participate in the Bob Southall Holiday Classic. Tip-off is Wednesday night at 7:00 versus Hyde, CT.
