The Wildcats Win on Senior Day

The Wildcats came out strong today in honor of their five seniors.  While dominating the play for the first 10 minutes, the Wildcats had difficulty finishing.  Freshman Mia Brown (Woodstock, VT) put the team on the board off of a shot from senior captain Maya Karosas (Stowe, VT). Once the gates opened, the Wildcats continued to pounce on the goal.  Senior captain Erika Madrian (Wellesley, MA) scored her first goal, assisted by junior Kelsey Pollard (Meriden, NH).
In the second half, Brown scored her second goal along with goals by Pollard, sophomore Liz Colannino (Old Town, ME), junior Kylie Shields (New Castle, NH) and freshman Madison Gesner (West Newton, MA).  Karosas finished the day with 4 assists, Pollard, Shields and junior Miranda Judd (Lebanon, NH) with one each.  Senior Maddie Belback (Grafton, NH) had her chances in front of the net but could not squeeze the ball past the fast moving Vermont Academy goalie.  Senior Caitlin Keane (Georges Mills, NH) played a strong game at midfield keeping the ball in the Wildcats’ offensive zone.
Senior goalie Morgan Sebor (Concord, NH) played a fantastic game in net keeping the ball out of the cage to earn a shutout.
The Wildcats set out on the road for their 5 last regular season games.  They travel to Hebron Academy this Saturday to take on the Lumberjacks.
