The Wildcats Beat the Huskies: 3-0

The Wildcats came out strong after playing just last night.  Junior Kylie Shields (New Castle, NH) scored her first goal of the season off an insert just 8 minutes into the game.  The Wildcats continued to dominate the half with great one touches from senior captain Maya Karosas (Stowe, VT), junior Kelsey Pollard (Meriden, NH), freshman Madison Gesner (West Newton, MA) and junior Miranda Judd (Lebanon, NH).
In the second half, freshman Mia Brown (Woodstock, VT) tipped a sure shot from Judd halfway through the period.  The Wildcats found the net a third time with a touch by Brown and Pollard off of a shot by Karosas on a corner.  Midfielders senior captain Erika Madrian (Wellsley, MA) and sophomore Liz Colannino (Old Town, ME) played a smart game containing the Huskies.  Defenders sophomore Anna Parker (Lebanon, NH) and freshmen Taylor Dudek (Auburn, NH) and Coreen Carley (Brentwood, NH) played an excellent game preventing shots on goal.  Carley made a defensive save late in the second half to maintain the shutout.  Both goalies sophomore Sofia DiAntonio (Cornish, NH) and senior Morgan Sebor (Concord, NH) played great games in goal.  DiAntonio recorded two saves for the day.
The Wildcats travel to Brewster Academy to play the Bobcats on Wednesday.
