Kimball Union Beats Vermont Academy: 5-0

The Wildcats traveled to Vermont Academy today to play the rivaling Wildcats. Six minutes into the first half, senior captain Maya Karosas (Stowe, VT) scored the first goal after a melee in the front of the net. Junior Kelsey Pollard (Meriden, NH) scored the team’s second goal off of a hard shot from freshman Madison Gesner (West Newton, MA). In the second half, Gesner earned a goal along with junior Miranda Judd (Lebanon, NH) who scored off of a pass from Karosas. Freshman Mia Brown (Woodstock, NH) finished off the scoring, also assisted by Karosas. The Wildcats earned 17 corners and took 24 shots. Senior Morgan Sebor (Concord, NH) had 1 save in net. Kimball Union hosts Northfield Mount Hermon this Wednesday on Pope Field.
