Wildcats Lose to Tough Huskies Team

KUA struck first by scoring a run in the top of the first inning with two outs after Alex Wesoja walked, advance to second on a passed ball and scored on a Ben Bates single with two outs. That would be it for scoring on the day for the Wildcats despite having multiple runners in scoring position in two different innings. New Hampton pitcher Teddy Beaudet gave up only one hit over the next four innings, and the host Huskies took full advantage of KUA mistakes by executing at the plate with key hits, scoring eleven runs in four innings to put the game away. The Wildcats and Huskies face off again on Wednesday, 4/23, at 2:30 p.m. at Powers Field for KUA's home opener.
