KUA Battles Hard @ Vermont Academy

KUA lost a heartbreaker today at Vermont Academy. It was an intense battle with excellent compete from both teams. VA came on strong in the first period and the KUA penalty kill was up to the task keeping the game scoreless heading into the 2nd period. In the 2nd, it was KUA who pushed offensively but could not convert on the power play. The girls kept the pressure on in the third period and had multiple power play opportunities, but it was VA who finally scored at 7:33 left in the game. It was a spirited effort by the girls and some fine goaltending by Sr. Amelie Poirier.
KUA returns to action on Fri., Jan. 17 with a 6:30pm home game vs. Governor’s Academy.
