KUA faced-off against league leading and the number two ranked high school team in New England Brewster Academy. KUA knew going into the game they had to stop Brewster’s transition game. While KUA held to their game plan and forced a settled game of lacrosse, Brewster still managed to outscore KUA in the first quarter, 5-1.
Brewster extended their lead to 10-1 at the half. KUA scored the first two goals of the second half, though the lead proved to be too much to overcome.
PJ Tessier scored the Wildcat’s first half goal and Mike Robertello and Eric Megnia added the second half goals. Andrew Jarrett assisted Megnia’s goal.
With two games remaining in the season, the Wildcats are upbeat and ready to get back to work in preparation for St. Paul’s at home on Friday night at 5pm and then away against Vermont Academy on Saturday.
