Pollard played defense in the center of the field to force many turnovers. Senior captain Hannah Madden (Manchester, NH) K. Pollard, Karosas, and senior Storm Sideleau (Contoocook, NH) almost scored off of several crosses and strong shots. H. Wellington scored the first goal for Exeter off of a reverse chip on the left side. The first half ended with KUA trailing by one.
Seven minutes into the second half, Karosas took advantage of a loose ball in Exeter’s circle, dodged the last defender, moved the goalie and scored to tie the game. Pollard as fly and senior Alana Corrado (Winchester, MA) in net. H. Wellington scored Exeter’s winning goal with 13 seconds remaining off of a free hit from the apron.
