WIldcats Escape from Groton with a W

KUA improves to 12-6 with a road win at Class B Groton School.  Shannon Walsh hit one of 2 free throws with 8 seconds left in reguation to send the game into overtime.  The sophomore post went on to score 7 points in the extra period to help the wildcats secure the 39-32 victory.  Also coming up with key shots for Kimball Union were Becca DeTurk and Jill Clark.  Gretchen Schissel grabbed some crucial rebounds while Walsh, Chloe Tyler and Kaitie Sanders were instrumental on the defensive end. Walsh and Fiekah Fataar were the leading scores in today's contest, netting 14 and 10 respectively.
