Cats Hold Off Bulldogs for Victory

KUA raced out to 14-2 lead before visiting Berwick began heating up from the floor to narrow the gap to 22-13 at the break. The Wildcats received balanced scoring in the second stanza but more than 18 missed layups allowed the Bulldogs to pull within 8 as time was winding down.  Fiekah Fataar scored on 3 consecutive trips down the floor and then freshman Miranda Judd hit a huge 3 to give the Cats some breathing room. Defensive stoppers Becca DeTurk and Kaitie Sanders showed great hustle preventing Berwick from having any players in double figures.  KUA's Shannon Walsh finished with 11 points while Fataar finished with a game-high 16.

KUA improves to 9-6 while Berwick drops to 11-4.
