The Cats had trouble firing on all cylinders in Saturday night's match-up against a well-rounded Brooks team in North Andover, MA. Shannon Walsh had 3 buckets in the first half, but KUA only scored 5 other points falling behind 21-11 at the break. Defensive intensity and better ball movement at times helped KUA go on a mini-run late in the second stanza to close the gap to 8. Kaitie Sanders gave a valiant effort on both ends of the court diving for loose balls and finishing the fast break.
Kimball Union has another busy week ahead with 3 home contests vs. Tilton (Tuesday), Berwick (Wednesday) and Cushing (Saturday). Come out and cheer on the Wildcats!
