The Lady Wildcats won their 6th game in a row, this time on the road at Holderness School. After a slow start for KUA, the visitors had only built a 7 point lead at the intermission, 22-15. Miranda Judd, Kaitie Sanders and Chloe Tyler provided a much needed spark in the second half while stellar defense by Shannon Walsh helped to hold Holderness’ star player to just 2 points. The Cats slowly pulled away behind buckets by Fiekah Fataar, Becca DeTurk and Walsh to notch a 47-24 victory.
Fataar led all scorers with 18 points while Walsh was close behind with 13.
KUA, who improves to 8-4, is back on the road tomorrow as the Cats travel to North Andover, MA to take on Class B Brooks School.
