KUA Goes Undefeated in January
The Lady Wildcats traveled to Massachusetts and raced out to a 21-4 lead but allowed Deerfield to close the half on a 14-5 run. Things started better for KUA in the second stanza but Deerfield would not go down without a fight. Kimball Union eventually raised their intensity level and never allowed the hosts to get closer than 8 points. Strong defense and rebounding made the difference down the stretch for the Cats who went undefeated for the month of January.
Shannon Walsh led the way in scoring for KUA with 13 points. Fiekah Fataar and Jill Clark chipped with 10 and 8 points respectively.
KUA travels to Holderness on Friday and the Brooks School on Saturday. Go Wildcats!
