Win Streak Extends to Three for Wildcats

Twenty-one first half points from Fiekah Fataar ‘13 plus strong team defense and superb rebounding gave the Wildcats a 28-12 advantage at the break.  Hartland’s Becca DeTurk clamped down on Holderness’ Migile Vilunaite holding her to just 4 points in the first stanza.  The Cats were able to stretch the lead to 20 after freshman Miranda Judd knocked down her second trey of the game but the Bulls would not go down without a fight.  Vilunaite hit two threes of her own down the stretch to make things interesting but thankfully KUA’s Jillian Clark ‘15 was clutch from the foul line to keep the game out of reach.

Fataar finished with a career-best and game-high 30 points while Clark finished with 8 (4-for-4 from the foul line).  The Wildcats, playing with just 7 players due to  injuries, fought tough to notch their 3rd win in a row.
