Cats Give Proctor a Scare
KUA raced out to quick lead behind 8 straight points by Fiekah Fataar '13 but a knee injury sidelined Fataar for the rest of the half. Proctor's Elemy Colome netted 14 points, all in the first half, to give Proctor a 27-16 halftime lead. Fataar was able to return in the second half scoring 7 more points and grabbing several rebounds to keep KUA close.
The Wildcats worked hard on the defensive end limiting Proctor to one shot on most trips down the floor. Becca DeTurk '13 held Proctor's Amber Wilson to 2 first-half points and just 7 overall. Although disappointed with the loss, the KUA squad showed vast improvement and worked well as a team. The future looks bright for these young Wildcats!
KUA will return to action in early January with a home game against Vermont Academy.
