KUA loses on the road to Proctor.

Despite high intensity and a solid competitive effort, the Wildcats struggled offensively, managing only two goals, both in the second quarter. Credit Proctor with an equally solid effort. While the KUA defense was organized and aggressive around the crease, Proctor slowly built a 5-2 lead at the half, and then 9-2 at the end of the third quarter.  Ryan Lund won 58% of his face-offs and led the Wildcats with 7 ground balls while attackman Max Abendroth finished with five.  In goal, Tim McNair stopped eleven Proctor shots and Santiago Morales stopped two.  KUA’s defense held strong and cleared effectively, especially in the opening two quarters. Patrick Lynch, Trey McDougall, and Riley Alderman worked hard around the cage while Eric Bogart and Peter Prendergast also played well on defense. Ian Timpone scored KUA’s first goal and Andrew Jarrett contributed a goal and an assist.

KUA (2-4) plays home against Tilton on Wednesday at 2:30pm.
