Six Goal Second Period Guides Wildcats

The KUA Boys Hockey teamed earned their 23rd win of the season over Proctor Academy. KUA was able to use a six goal second period to win 6-1. After a first period where both KUA and Proctor had chances KUA began to convert on theirs. Elie Vered scored KUA’s first goal and Greg Burmaster’s wrister from the right faceoff circle quickly made a 0-0 game 2-0 in favor of KUA. Jonathan Charbonneau added two second period goals and Jordan Babb added one of his own. Vered was able to secure his second tally of the afternoon and that was the end of KUA’s scoring. In goal for the Wildcats, Eric Bogart turned awat 28 out of 29 shots and needed to be excellent when the game was in doubt. Next up for KUA is a road game, at Cushing Academy on Saturday at 4pm.
