The Wildcats Beat the Bulls 1-0

The Kimball Union Field Hockey team came out today determined to beat their rival Holderness.  The play went back and forth throughout the first half with few shots.  With 8:45 left on the clock, Shannon Sebor (Haverhill, NH) passed to Maura Doyle (Merrimack, MA) who got a piece of the ball into the circle.  Maya Karosas (Stowe, VT) scored off the pass. 

            In the second half, KUA worked the ball in the middle of the field to get another goal in the second half.  In the end, the Wildcats earned 6 corners to the Bulls’ 5.  Kells Casey (Sandwich, MA) had 4 saves in the goal.

 

            The Wildcats host Exeter on Wednesday.
