Wildcats Fall to Middlebury 0-3

The Wildcats played Middlebury College JV team this Wednesday.  The Wildcats worked on adjusting to the Astroturf in the first half.  They had difficulty controlling the ball and keeping it in bounds.  Maura Doyle (Merrimac, MA) played smart in the midfield, pushing the ball up and recovering back to play defense.  Maya Karosas (Stowe, VT) and Becky Young (Plaindfield, NH) played a strong give-and-go game up on the frontline.  Middlebury scored two goals in the first half and one in the second half by getting shots off at the top of the circle.  Kimball Union had 2 corners to Middlebury’s 7.  Kells Casey (Sandwich, MA) had 7 saves in goal.

 

The Wildcats (1-1) play Northfield Mount Hermon home next Wednesday.
