Kimball Union Academy Lacrosse Players Earn All-American Accolades

 

Meriden, NH, May 26, 2011-- Kimball Union has announced that senior Chris Morse was selected as a High School Academic All-American Lacrosse recipient while fellow senior and teammate Drew Simoneau earned All-American Lacrosse Honors.

 

Morse, a four-year varsity Wildcat from Hanover, NH, was a constant force at both ends of the field. He scored 27 goals and assisted on another 42 during his career. He also shared face-off duties with Simoneau the last two seasons, winning 109 out of 217 attempts. Chris is a High Honors student and a member of the Cum Laude Society. He is headed to Yale University in the fall.

 

Simoneau of Manchester, NH was awarded the All-American Honor after his stellar all around-play for the Wildcats his junior and senior years. In his two seasons on The Hilltop he recorded 51 goals and 22 assists, won 58% percent of his face-offs, and scooped up 172 ground balls. Drew will be playing in the East-West Senior New England All-Star game Wednesday, June 1 at Loomis Chaffee. Drew is will attend Nazareth College in the fall.
