The Wildcats Come from Behind to Tie Holderness

Ashley Johnston

On Wednesday the Wildcats took on Lakes Region Rival Holderness.  The Wildcats looked sluggish and disorganized in the first period; however they were able to regain their focus in the second.  After the first the Wildcats were down 2-0, however Kelli Joyce rallied the team and led them to a come back in the second.  Charlie Viens scored a Power Play goal to make the score 2-1.  Towards the end of the second Michaela Igo scored top-shelf on the Holderness goalie off of a nice set up pass by Mary Donovan.  The Wildcats controlled the second and third periods and the game went into OT.  KUA was unable to pull off the complete comeback and the game ended in a 2-2 tie.  The Wildcats take on NEWHL on Thursday night at 6PM.
